The only way a header could affect your oil consumption is if the added heat burned the o-ring in your dipstick tube. Once the crankcase pressurizes, it will vent through the path of least resistance, which in your case may be the dipstick tube. It will be relatively unnoticeable because it will vent as a fine mist, which you will hardly notice except for the smell of it burning off the header.
