Default Odd problem

The other night my car refused to start. So I sat in the car and turned the ignition key to where you power everything up and you can hear the fuel pump kick on.

I didn't hear my fuel pump kick on, and the motor was tryin' to turn over, it just couldn't. Battery was just replaced last winter. Alternator seems to be fine. I just noticed I didn't hear my fuel pump turn on just before you crank.

But now the car is running fine starts up no problem. Drives fine. I didn't do anything except let it sit there for a day.

Could it be a fluke? I have an extra fuel pump and i can swap it in like 5 mins if need be. Just wondering if there is something else I should check out? This is about the only problem I've had come up, except for regular wear and tear.

Any input?
