But they're replacable by LEDs I believe. (Some of the acura guys have done so i believe.)
The only way I know of changing the color of a VFD is with plastic filters. If the clock is LCD backlit by LED's then it should be easy to change out. I've done that before on custom computer LCD modules. Then again I might be entirely wrong. Just basing my observation from my Accord.
