Aight guys im baffled. I posted a thread recently asking for help to figure out why i was failing emissions, we all thought it was the cat so i replaced my cat, yet i am still failing emissions. My friend whos my mechanic thinks its my VAFC, i have it set real lean right now but i still produce too many hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide at 25 mph. I produce 197 HC ppm and the limit is 115 and produce 2.08% carbon monoxide and the limit is .65!!! What the hell is going wrong? I did an induction service, redid the timing, and put on a new cat. Any other ideas, should i just hook up the wiring directly to the stock ECU and just bypass the VAFC? Give me some ideas i am in need of serious help.
