Just having a super or turbo doesn't create hp and overdoing it won't do anything but blow up an engine. If you know how both of the FI devices work, then you would understand the concept a bit better.

It's really not about creating insane amounts of boost, because that can be accomplished by either unit independently (smaller pully/bigger turbo & other factors). The only benefit that I can see from doing both would be something like have a sequential TT setup on a Supra. The SC would allow boost to be created right off the line from very low RPMs until enough pressure has built up so that the turbo can take over. The only problem would be 'telling' the SC to stop creating boost so that the pressure could be regulated.

I've thought about this before I actually owned a turbo and knew what the mechanics of it were.

Not a bad question...

I never really learned the how-to's of cars that have TT and such. But I guess the same principle would work if a car was N/A and wanted a Short-ram and a CAI set up for the intake?
