Ok let me tell some history, I have a 1994 Accord EX auto, The ABS light was on and the code was for both rear ABS sensors. I replaced them and the light went away.
Tonight as I was driving home the car went nuts, all instruments on the cluster started going up and down, fuel gauge dropped to zero, RPM's rose to 8k, and the speedo read as 140, temp gauge also dropped to zero. Out of utter terror I babied her home, thought it wasnt running very bad.....At present the gauges are still whacked and the idle is very high 1500-2000 rpms...Oh and the ABS light came on again, no check engine though.
Is it the ECU?? I pray it is, can anyone help?
hey thats the same problem i just had last week when i got the timing belt/water pump all that change, if none of the things they said work here it is, is a simple thing that gets lose and when it does it lose contact all u got to do is tight it the way it is supposed too. is a 1second job , sorry i cant explain how to do it i just had the mechanic that did the belts etc... do it for me i saw him put the hand down the enigine and tight it up and that was it. my abs light was going on and off as well and everything going nuts i was like wtf good thing nothing is wrong ur car still runs new
