If it's cold out, you may want to do a short dry spin (you might need the e-brake) to heat the tire surface up a little. That's what I usually do anyway (it cleans off sand/gravel, too).
If it's over 70, your tire will probably be as grippy as if it were 150 degrees. I really doubt you'll be exceeding your tire's grip, anyway.
