A vafc will not do the same as all p28's. There are many different p28 programs...so saying a vafc will do the same is wrong. My roomies got rid of his secondaries, lowered vtec, and changed the fuel maps.
VTEC engagement and fuel maps are both configurable in the VAFC. Secondaries you could easily do yourself.
