For running 10 psi on a B18B1, the GT28RS is actually about dead even with the TO4E 50 and 54 trims in terms of peak efficiency. Most turbo kits have a TO4E 54 compressor. They all hit about 77% efficiency according to the compressor maps. The Super 60 tops out at about 70% efficiency.
One thing to keep in mind, if you buy the hype, All the "t" series are 80's technology. The GT stuff is "new". FWIW, the T3/T4 combo is one of the best hybrid turbos and continues to make good power especially at higher boost.
One thing I'm concerned about, my CRX is a street car. IMO a "proper" street car has AC. I already have AC and want to keep it. How much work am I making for myself? The underhood of the CRX is small enough already. Anyone here done boost and AC on a CRX with a B engine?
