As I already said, the 282 hp number is the output of the 4.4 liter normally aspirated BMW V8 that the Range Rover is equipped with. It was in the previous-generation BMW 540i, 740i and X5 4.4i and has since been replaced in the BMW lineup by a 315 hp 4.4 liter V8.
Edmunds quoted the wrong figure.
actually they did not. they are referring to the current rang rover in the first few sentences then they switch to the concept in the last sentence in the paragraph.
so to rehash as HAN people always do
concept has the 390hp s/ced V8 as booty stated and the 282hp figure is from the BMW 4.4L V8 that is currently used in the Range Rover.
