That's fine, there are turbos out there that are larger, and CAN spool ALMOST like a T25, but none of those will out-spool it... and certainly not for T25 money. Sure, they'll move more air than a T25, but you have to get them to do it first. As far as the small hot side is concerned, have you actually seen the inside of a T25's exhaust housing, or the exhaust wheel? Tiny. It's nicknamed the T-2-small for a reason.

I see your point, there are lots of other options. I do think it a T25 would be a terrible drag turbo; however, it's an autoXer's delight. It would be great on the street because it would boost almost instantaneously. It all depends if you're trying to be "the man", or just make your car run like it's got a set. I still really think the T3/T4 housing is overkill for a SOHC Honda engine. That's my opinion. You can disagree with my opinion any time you want.

Has anyone determined if that's a T25 or a T28? Any shots of the compressor wheel? They look identical except for the compressor wheels. Here's my old T25 setup in case anyone cares to compare.
