Actually there is only one type of coil over... the ones your car came from the factory with , everything else are threaded bodies or threaded sleeves to be technical (its a pet peeve of mine... sorry )

It is true that threaded sleves or threaded bodied shocks ride stiff than lowering springs as lowering springs a generally progresive rate springs where threaded have linear rate springs.

That Tokico kit looks fine for street use and occasnial auto-x use, if you are going to auto-x or hpde more seriously you might look for something else, or by these now and go ground control sleves later.
