I'm surprised no one's brought up this point:

JDM del Sol's weren't called a Civic del Sol at all; they were known as the CR-X del Sol. The del Sol is as far from a Civic as a CR-X... They only used the name Civic here, b/c the Civic was popular, and the name CR-X in Japan, b/c the CR-X was the more popular car.

Has nothing to do w/ forums (or maybe it does?) I just felt like bringing up that point.
