It could be that he has an auto now, wants to swap, but doesn't want to do the manual swap with it. It kinda makes sense.

The only problem that I foresee is deciding which ECU to use. I know that manual and auto ECUs are different and that the TypeR didn't come as an auto. Andy or PHiZ may be good people to ask about this.

As for the mechanical part of this, any auto Bseries tranny will bolt up to the motor.
