NT/XP have the same permissions policy structure. Someone using a system that has been not allowed to access a certian folder, will just get an "access denied" error message. I don't know if you can actually set it so they just simply can't see them.

That might be under Group Policies.

All in all, XP will still look the same to the people useing it.
