i dunno i've been messing with my wireless here for a few days.. laptop picks it up fine new computer wont its really really pissing me off... here is the rule of thumb drumsy if the modem is close to the computer don't even eff with a wireless network if you aren't totally network savy. Just get a network card and slap it in there and plug in the cable..

i was confused as to how many comptures you have in the apartment.. if its more than 1 just get a router like the one he posted.... i will STRONGLY tell you not to try wireless unless you know someone. other than that its pretty straight foreward
