I apologize for the noobness of this question

Ok we all talk about spring stiffness and ride stiffness as opposed to bouncing around. I have 17 inch rims on stock suspension and yea the ride isnt that great i feel everything. If I lower my car with koni yellows that I am probably going to buy and eibach springs for a 1.5 inch drop, am I going to be more COMFORTABLE driving on the street, or am I gonna still feel everything but just be 1.5 inches lower. Some stiffness is good, but I don't want to cry everytime I go onto a driveway cause of the BAM! noise. And I don't want to bounce either. Whats the COMFORT improvement (not just performance wise).

Sorry again, just need to know i am spending money on something that won't hurt me.

I guess what I am trying to say is RIDE QUALITY. I want good ride quality even though I have 17s.
