The idea is a gradual reformation to being nice, honest, and open with her. That is, if you want a relationship.

You don't constantly remain a dick and uncaring, that'll drive her away too. But in the beginning, it makes them curious and intrigued by your confidence and how you are "different" than the other guys who come up to her every day saying how gorgeous she is.

You definitely have to make sure to increasingly become more open and up front with her, on how you feel / are attracted to her, or the LACK of compliments will drive her away as well. And then yes, she'd "catch on" and be "gone".

Anyhow, it's not the easiest way to find a quality woman, and it's lame that you have to play games; but it really is necessary sometimes.
