windows XP people....gather 'round

how can i set this up?
i have:
A- 60gig harddrive (OS)
B- 120gig harddrive
C- 40gig harddrive
D- DVD-ROM
E- CDRW
drives A and B are on one IDE cable (ultra DMA100?)
drives D and E are on another IDE cable
i want to put in drive C. on my motherboard, there seems to be another slot that a 3rd IDE cable would fit into. can i just plug in drive C onto the 3rd IDE cable?
i tried taking out one of the optical drives and putting drive C in its place, but i get a "missing NTLDR" upon bootup. and it tells me to reboot. :thinking:
