I just changed the oil last weekend. I was hoping that I would find something dripping on the exhaust. Exhaust system is fine.

I have no fluid leaks on the garage floor.

It is possible. I will take a closer look.

I checked the ATF dipstick. ATF fluid nice and pink.

I checked brakes. I do not have a stuck caliper nor emergency brake cable.

It could be burnt-up cooling fan on radiator. It could be old anti-freeze.

Whatever it was, the smell has gone away now that the weather is above 35 degrees.
