That was a great post. We just bought a 99 Civic that just came up with the P1457 code. Can you tell me where you got the troubleshooting proceedure for the Accord? Looks like this one may be hard to diagnose. I don't know a lot about the EVAP canister & the related system but I know where the basic parts are and have a basic understanding. I have all of the troubleshooting tools and abilities. It looks like there is a vent hose connected to a small canister that is connected to the big canister. This engine was detailed before we bought it and I'm wondering if water could have gotten in there and block the vent? Possible? Thanks -
