the newer cars with electronic temperature control use a stepper motor to move a cable for the valve under the hood and the "flapper" inside the air plenum under the dash. You'd need that motor for the swap to control the existing temperature cables in your car.

I have a digital climate control out of a 97 Acura CL if you want it. The only thing is that the plastic over the display has a crack in it... it functions fine... you'll just need a new face for it. I'll sell it for like $30 if you want it. They are sold from the dealer in 2 pieces, the computer part and the switch/display part. From the dealer, the combined price of the 2 parts is $900.
