Well what's cool about your camera is that even though it's an entry level digital camera, you still have up to 15 seconds exposure at max exposure time. So set up a tripod, and expose that beast for 15 seconds and see what you get.

A little ambiant light is neccesary, but it doesn't have to be bright. For a cool effect, take the pic in a traffic area, check the blurred head and tail lights in this pic. (Since it's snow, ice, and salt season here in Ohio, I have my 18" wheels off, and some 15" alloys on)
