generally speaking, i just think it's safer to do your own mods (assuming you educate yourself on whatever mod you are doing). it gives you a lot more pride in your car too.
I agree but sometimes its less expensive to buy the prebuilt than to do your own (trust me its not cheap building them) and he is obviously looking for something already well on its way or pretty much done from the description of what he is looking at
