I installed a Viper 790VX alarm system into my car. ( German cars you could install remote starts without by passing the clutch.

Well when I was done installing the alarm and went to auto start the car was " accidentally " left in gear and lunged forward when started.

Now my garage has a big black dent in it.
Now Imagine if there was a kid in front of the car when this happend. Or if I parked it in the street and tried remote starting it while its in gear.

Thats why most remote starters are designed for "AUTOMATIC Trans" and CANNOT be use or installed to MANUAL Trans.. Lets put it this way, when some people see a sign "WET PAINT" they still touch it just to make sure that the PAINT IS WET.. What I am saying here is why do you have install a remote start that is specifically designed for AUTO Trans and still install it to MANUAL trans..
