yea.. just yank em out, thats what i did.

it just leaves the metal lip exposed.

and depending on if the car has started to rust will determine how bad it will look or whatever.

my DX you peeled it back and half of the metal lip was already GONE!

my Black Si still had just about brand new looking metal under the stripping, a smidge of surface rust, but fixable

the Red Si i have is a little worse, but i got that fixed from the body shop

any my GFs CRX has NO RUST at all

so it will depend, but i wouldn't replace it, just remove it and try to stop the rust from spreading anymore
