I would definately check your timing, make sure the timing belt hasn't skipped a tooth and don't forget to get a timing light and check that too. Consider picking up a fuel pressure gauge to make sure everything is working right on that end too. How do the plugs look after it runs? Have they ever been replaced? Is the ECU throwing any codes?
