You've got to remember, she can either just want to not be serious and date different people or end up going back to her ex. Then, you don't want to end up as her shoulder to cry since that'll usually cockblock you in the future.

I play ice hockey, and we had made plans sort of to go ice skating this weekend. Perhaps I should put that on hold due to her recent breakup? Or do you think it'll do her some good, even as a friend and she wont think I'm tryin to get my swerve on?
