The Grand Sport 2 series was a year old (the #52 Mustang win at power hogging Daytona was this fall and the Targa race was back in Sept) I was just putting forth some of my knowledge of pro racing series and disproving the myth about the handling thing, and proving my theory about power and torque....it said so right in the Targa rules as I pointed out.

That column was not biased toward Ford, it was direct from the sanctioning body merely reporting the success of the Mustang in that series. People think I'm kidding when I'm talking about road race set ups being effective on the Mustang.

What people see at "open" track weekends or on the street doesn't make a valid arguement because of the lack of rules or giudelines. I am showing you hard proof from sanctioned racing series that torque and power makes the difference. The BMW's in that series also run V8's and they are also successful.
well first off, what BMW V8's are we talkin bout here
because the M3 is an inline 6

now i agree with integrity, we originally were talking stock here, not goddamn nascar or some super mustang that has a different suspension on it
