i dont know about that
c'mon now maybe you should read up on the s2000 more before you make a statement like that
or any import for that matter
the fact is
with suspension mods and EQUAL HP and TQ my car (92 Prelude) would butcher you on a semi-technical track.
now it might take a turbo or supercharger to have my prelude matching a cobra in HP/weight and so forth but it would not be pretty for you.
you forget that the s2000 is already at a handicap as far as power goes compared to the V8's you are talking about
on a track
set up an even playing field with HP/weight and see who gets mashed. Imports or Domestics
i cant help but wonder what exactly you domestic guys are trying to prove here.
GODDAMN, youve got 4 more cylinders, more than twice the displacement...and now you want to talk about your suspension mods. Dude compared to domestic cars...the Japs wrote the book on handling, i hate to break it to you, maybe you are late to the game or something.
how much does a GT weigh. and how much does a s2000 weigh?
give them even power to weight too, leave it all to suspension, and see who will take the win
if all else is equal (mainly TQ and HP), leaving suspension and driver as the 2 key factors on a course, your domestics get smoked.
