What you do is take off the "flywheel cover" and stick a screw driver in between the teeth on the torque converter (or flywheel if you have a 5spd), and slowly turn the crank until it locks into place, then just go to town on the bolt. The screw driver should hold the crank in place easily. The closer to the front or back of the tranny that you can do it, the better. Less risk of cracking the bell housing.
