25 minutes! Woot! Then again, I pull engines alone in about an hour with hand tools. Damn air hoses get in the way! now a cordless impact.... hmmmm Might have to get me one of those!
That write up doesn't really mention how to get the shaft back into the tranny. I always line it up, slide it in as far as I can, then silde the other end into the hub, and swing the knuckle to slam the axle into the tranny. Works like a charm with VERY little effort, and I've NEVER seen any damage to the axles or diff.
