I'm not sure, but we've had some really odd distributor issues in the past. All were 'stumpers' where we had no idea what was going on. Usually it was something easy to replace/fix, but hard to diagnose. Hopefully these issues are few and far between, I dont wish that upon anyone.
Yes,very hard to diagnose.With a no start problem,the basic things that are checked are does it have fuel and spark.It had both,so he had to end up testing everything,which took 2 days!At least now my baby is purring again to 8500RPM!
