A VAFC is a good thing to have always, but not because it controls vtec, but because you can do some minor changes to your Air Fuel curve.
If you get one, get it tuned on a dyno.
But you are not looking at a huge increase in power. But it might be enough to give you a few 10ths off the 1320 time.
