This may or may not be a dumb question, but here is is anyway:

I have a 6gen lx accord w/ 4 spd. auto. transmission, and I am looking to swap in a manual tranny; I am curious if i can directly swap in a tranny from a 5th generation, or if it would be easier if i could just find all the parts from a same-year accord. I am also well aware that a H22 setup is best, i am just looking for some options that won't run above $2,500, as I am not sure how much longer i can restrain myself from gettin a Z. thanks very much, and if anyone has done this, feel free to p.m. me.
