My girlfreind's 86 isuzu tropper II is having some problems. I know its not a honda, or acura, but i figured if i asked a general question somone would be able to help us out. It will start up, and run for a few seconds and then just die. I can rev up the engine and it runs smooth, but then just dies. The check engine light will come on, but i dont know how to check the codes, much less what the codes mean on this car.

The only symtoms i can give you is that before the oil light came on every time she went around a corner, but then we topped off the oil and that fixed that problem. I checked all the fuel lines , the oil is fine, oil pressure is fine, fuel pressure and the injectors seem to be fine since i can rev the engine up to 3k and it runs fine till it dies.

If anyone can give any ideas, please let me know
