No problem. I'm actually in love with the D15A3, but that's something else. The "duh" was not an insult, it just indicates that that downfall was fairly obvious but I was pointing it out anyway.
I know how expensive B series swaps can be, that's part of the reason why I defected to Rotaries. I just can't justify spending $1800 for a 180hp, 127ft-lb N/A engine when I can spend $800 on a 182hp, 183ft-lb turbo engine.
Don't worry, I don't hate D-series, I've helped a friend of mine put a 16v D15B7 head on his 8v D15B8 block in the never-ending search for horsepower on a budget. That's even less worthwhile then a D16Z6 head swap, but hell, it gave him more power.
