I had a Viper 300ESP, don't remember it's features. Whatever it comes with out of the box is what I had. I know now that getting this alarm was mistake #1, mistake #2 was me thinking this alarm would deter any would be thief, and if not, at least give me time to get out there to see what's going on. Now that I think about it, I know one of the features this alarm has is starter disable, of course only when the alarm is armed. Once the alarm is disarmed(brain ripped out) this feature is about as worthless as a shock sensor on a factory alarm(sorry b12uceHuy
). From the time I head my alarm chirp twice, to the time I got out back to see what was up, which was about 30 seconds, my car was gone. The only alarm that I know of that will still render your car disabled even with the brain ripped out, battery disconnected, and all wires cut is a Clifford. Since their sirens are self powered, you can disconnect the battery if you want, isn't gonna matter. OK, im rambling now, I'll stop

hey dude, you just made me wonder how alpine works. i have a chip in the key that comes with the car. so i will just add the fuel kill to complete the 3 point kills. my question is, if the battery is disconnected or the brain is ripped out, will the fuel kill still be able to function? how about all the sensors that connected to the brain?
