McKInney is pretty south right, no snow issues, so I would go for Summer performance that will be good enough in the rain for a torrential hurricane downpour. Yokohama makes a damn fine tire, though I am sad to say the AVSi is history. The Kumho's I have now have worn pretty well, but are just not as high a quality tire. They have deteriorated more with wear.
