whoa, thats not good man. you need to upgrade your valve train in order to rev that high. my GSR's rev limiter is at 8200 but the springs and retainers on them are set to handle that kind of speed. the rev limiter is there to PROTECT your engine, not to restrict power. i wouldnt be reving that high in an LS unless i wanted some bent valves, or i upgraded the valvetrain. valves open and close like hundreds of times per second at that kinda of RPM..be careful.
