it was obivously a late model 6cyl camaro (200HP) champ

those NA 240sx's are funny, there are a few that frequent the races and the avenue by me. there is a mid nineties black one with exhaust and yada yada whatever that was messin with me at like 40, and i didnt even need to downshift to 2nd to kick his ass, 3rd gear did the job from 3500 rpms on up
and once my VTEC engaged at 5000 it was more like a bbq
i ate that guy alive

btw ur "stock" sr240 has an aftermarket BOV?

a 2G eclipse gsx with 3in exhaust and other mods would be in the high 13's easy, because there is nothing to stop him from running higher boost with all that restriction gone

im not denying that a sr240 could beat a type-r, but not a NA 240sx
