Maybe you raced an 89-90 240sx... Even then I'd doubt it... I've walked away from a 99 Camaro Z28 in my mid 15 240, it does not mean the guy wasn’t a complete moron and didn’t know how to drive worth a damn.

I raced a 97 GSX when mine was NA, my friend dumped it at 6k and hit a 2.0 60ft. I got a 2.2 60ft with my open dif an 225 kumo 712s I was pulling on him the whole time, but he ran a 15.4 and I ran a 15.7. That's a GSX with full 3in exhaust and an Intake. My NA 240 was probably putting down about 180hp/175tq.

Your car is FWD, heavier, and has less power. Do the math. I raced a 1st gen NA eclipse in my 91 240 (i have 2) which is stock, and it was the most pathetic race I’ve ever seen. I'd bet my life that I would rock your Eclipse when my 240 was NA.

The high trap was because my shitty Blitz BOV was leaking till it spooled pas like 5k so it was a bit sluggish at the low rpms.. At least that’s why I think. My 60ft on those runs were like 2.4, because my sub frame spacers are ****ed up and I wheel hop if I launch.

I agree that a stock SR powered 240 and a stock TypeR would be a good race. I still think the 240 would win at least 70% of the time. Even when I had a open diff I was getting low 2.2 60ft runs. Even open Diff RWD is better than FWD. This is at LACR. Which is the slickest worse track there is (anyone who has ran there knows what i'm talking about)

Anyway, did anyone check out the Silvia vs TypeR video?
