I have a 98 GS-R here, looking at 170WHP (at least) without minimal internals work and those bolt ons.

Comptech intake & icebox
Comptech 4-2-1 headers
Comptech cat-back
Carsound high flow cat

I am pretty decided on those components.

Now I am looking for a camshafts upgrade and new ECU.

I've been looking at ITR cams, been remmended to use crower 403 cams and most of you here recommend JUN type III cams. Which one?

As for the ECU, what difference between comptech and hondata for instance?

I just want to stick witht he camshafts as for the only internal modification, but am I required to change something else along with them (so the engine won't take a crap on me). Camshaft gears? Should I or must I upgrade those too?
