I know I'm responding too late but for what it's worth I've heard to just stick with solid rotors. Modern pads don't gas like their predecessors so slots and holes, which are stress risers I'd assume, aren't necessary. If you stick with what you've already ordered, hopefully all works out. It should be perfectly fine on the streets but for some reason I picture you as the weekend racer type...or at least a future weekend racer. Just let us know how it goes.
