im looking to do the same thing for my d16y8. how heavy is just the bare-block?? would i need an engine puller? i'm going to take the oil pan and head off first, so JUST the block/crank/pistons. also...is it required that the cylinders be bored or honed if they still look clean and smooth?? i would like to do the install in about 4 days or so. possible? i've taken the head off before, removed the oil pan before, and removed the tranny as well. what else is there?
