I bought the cheapy aftermarket one to see if the throws were that much different but the end where it bolts is alot smaller than the factory one so it rattles and it really should fit tighter. My shifter is the same way, so I just used some washers to take up the rest of the space on the through-bolt, with a lock-washer to keep it all pressed together and rattle-free. I spent a total of maybe $45 on my shifter and the washers, had it for a year now with zero problems, no rattles, feels great shifting, stock height, etc. :bigok:
