Short Shifter

I had my mechanic install my short shifter and it has never rattled. He told me that some do it, but i guess mine just didnt, i have never had any rattling problems.

I bought a cheap no-name SS like this one:

It came with bushings, fits and works perfectly. I had to modify the heat shield, that was a bummer, but as far as I can tell, the heat shield will always have to be modified or removed with the use of a SS. Unless the more expensive ones are changing the pivot point.....
There's $.02 more to put in the kitty.....

I didn't have to modify anything with my Neuspeed.

shifter bushings and i think the rattling will stop...my itr shifter doesn't rattle and it's a bit shorter then the ls shifter...no grinds for me ^_^
