Dammit I knew the SRT-4 comparison was inevitable.
The SRT-4 is fwd. The EVO is awd. The fact that they are both high powered turbocharged cars based on econoboxes is a similarity, not their defining characteristic. End of story.

The SRT-4 doesn't torque steer so bad, plus a Quaife diff was added for the '04 model year and that helps even more.
Oh and I'm sure it's common knowledge that the '03 put about 220-225 hp to the wheels and the '04 puts down about 245.
