It's not that the drums are bad. They last much longer than rotors/pads and do very little of the actual braking. What is upsetting is the lack of ABS and the dismal feel of the Honda brakes in general. I have driven a new 7th gen sedan and unfortunatly I can say the brakes do not feel much better.
