I find in general that the 6th gen non-ABS rotor/drum setup is very weak. I locked my brakes doing about 65mph on a beauiful, clear day when some Canadian prick in an Acura MDX tried to cut me off. I was on the brink of disaster, the car was out of control bouncing from left to right. Using the accelerator to regain control prevented disaster. Had I applied more brake to regain control I would have wrecked. I try to drive conservativly now at highway speeds knowing that my brakes cannot be used aggresivly without extreme caution.
